Pulmac Systems International Strategy & Website
Pulmac Systems has been providing the world pulp and paper industry with the latest contaminant and fiber testing, process monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnostic tools for more than 50 years. The company needed a strategy to attract young engineers and expand their product line to include providing maintenance and support to current customers. Pulmac requested assistance redesigning their existing website and developing a long-term marketing strategy.
We first evaluated the company’s current digital presence. We found that the website was not SEO optimized, and that it was out of date, not responsive to browser/device size, and did not accurately reflect the business. We helped them re-craft and better articulate the new service offering and develop a long-term strategy to improve their digital presence. We sought to build a website that reflected their aesthetic while moving them to a visually-pleasing, SEO-optimized platform.
In redeveloping the website, we sought to keep the brand aesthetic but update and modernize the appearance of the site. We also moved the site over to the WordPress platform to facilitate increased functionality, ease of management, improved SEO, and responsive design. After discussing the functionality needed we designed mock-ups for them based on WordPress templates narrowing down the possibilities until we had a site they were happy with. We also coordinated a photo shoot of the leadership team, and worked closely with them to present a more youthful image.
